About Us

Progressive Transition(s), Inc. knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly in the actions of our initiatives. We recognize that whether witnessed or experienced, gender-based violence can have devastating impacts on the lives of individuals, families, communities, and our society as a whole. At Progressive Transition(s), Inc., we advocate for our clients and surrounding communities by working to eradicate the stigmas attached to victimization and embrace inclusion for all.

Our Founders

Progressive Transition(s), Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation was founded in 2008 by Norma Ward, B.S., M.A., Registered Addiction Specialist, and Kimberly Peters, BS, MAPC
who each acknowledged the fact that intimate partner violence/domestic violence is a critical public health, mental health, and women’s health issue.
